Adults With Asperger, Real Empowerment (AWARE) is a non-clinical/non-medical support group for adults (over 22) who are medically or self-diagnosed with Asperger or High-functioning Autism. This group was started because of a lack of community based support for socially functioning adults who would benefit from conversing with other adults in a similar situation. Lake County and NWI Autism Allies is a social group specifically for teens and twenties individuals with Asperger's Syndrome or Autism Spectrum issues in the greater Lake County, Indiana area.
